About me

You may be the person everyone depends on while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unlike yourself. Perhaps anxiety, depression, past experiences, relationship strain, burnout, or a major life transition has made it difficult to feel grounded and move forward- even when you appear to be holding everything together. You do not have to navigate this alone.

I’m Martha Quattlebaum, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I support adults who are feeling anxious, disconnected, emotionally stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe, compassionate space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without fear of judgment.

Therapy with me is both supportive and practical. Together, we can explore the patterns contributing to your distress while developing tools for coping, emotional regulation, boundaries, communication, self-understanding, and resilience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, DBT-informed skills, and trauma-informed care, tailoring our work to your goals and needs.

I have experience supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, mood concerns, grief, low self-esteem, emotional burnout, loneliness, people-pleasing, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, and major changes involving family, career, identity, or personal direction. I also have experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, transitioning service members, spouses, and others affected by military life and transition.

My goal is not only to help you manage difficult emotions, but also to help you understand yourself more deeply, strengthen healthier patterns, and reconnect with the life you want to create. If you are tired of carrying everything alone or repeating patterns that no longer serve you, I invite you to begin with one small step. We can work together toward greater clarity, confidence, emotional balance, and resilience.
