About me
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Ohio with 14 years of experience supporting individuals across a wide spectrum of challenges. Over the course of my career, I have worked with clients facing substance use disorder (SUD) and have supported people in managing stress, depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I also have extensive experience helping clients navigate significant life transitions, such as career changes, relationship issues, grief, and personal growth. My approach integrates knowledge from both clinical practice and ongoing education to provide comprehensive care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
My educational journey includes advanced training in mental health counseling, with a focus on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I am committed to ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and supervision to ensure I stay current with the most effective and innovative therapeutic approaches. This dedication allows me to refine my skills and better serve my clients continually.
When working with clients, I utilize a person-centered, strengths-based treatment approach. This means I prioritize building a trusting therapeutic relationship and tailoring interventions to fit your individual strengths, preferences, and goals. I believe you are the expert of your own story—everyone possesses unique abilities and inner resources that can help them overcome even the most difficult circumstances. My role is to provide empathetic guidance, consistent support, and practical tools that empower you to tap into those strengths, build resilience, and foster lasting personal growth.
Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I am honored to walk alongside you in this process. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your challenges, identify patterns, and develop effective coping strategies. Through our collaborative work, we will set realistic goals, celebrate progress, and address setbacks with compassion and flexibility. I am passionate about supporting you in realizing your potential and am dedicated to helping you achieve meaningful, lasting positive change in your life.
