About me

I am a Community Counselor. I have spent my time as a therapist side by side with people in their homes, in their schools, at their workplace, and out in the community. I have worked with people on the Autism Spectrum, with ADHD, depression, mood disorders, and end of life issues.

My approach to helping has always been to help you define your current purpose. I utilize a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioralism, and existentialism. I want you to feel heard, feel seen, and feel you are important. We will work together to help you on your journey.

I am glad you are here and I look forward to working with you.

Matthew is a great listener and frames things very well. Great insight and knowledge. Listens and respons and provides thoughts and strategies to think moving forward. I highly recommend him. He's helped my thinking so much.

Matthew has really taught me a lot this past year and a half. I always look forward to our sessions weekly. He has really taught me to stop making stories up in my head before anything actually happens. Still a work in progress but he pushes me to continue to do that. He is blunt and honest and will tell me exactly what I need to hear without sugar coating anything. That right there is what makes him a very good therapist! I have been with many and he is the first one to tell me like it is and he is always right. He does a great job knowing what will happen before it even happens, especially when I think he is wrong. haha. Having to admit that I was wrong is a lot harder than just doing it right in the first place. I appreciate Matthew and everything that he has helped me with. I wouldn't be where I am today had I not reached out for help when I needed it. Thank you, Matthew, for hanging in there with me. I know it has been quite the adventure!!

Matthew is so attentive and caring. I just started working with him a little over a week ago and I can already see improvements in myself. I would 10/10 recommend working with Matthew if possible.
