My work with Meghan over the past few months has helped me tremendously with my anxiety and a tough period of depression. I thought I was ready to “go it alone” and discontinued my Better Help membership a month ago. I realized that I needed the continued email conversations and appointments with Meghan to keep me balanced, so I renewed my membership and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to reconnect with Meghan immediately. Her response time to emails is unreal and provides me with in the moment solutions that I have never experienced with in person therapists.

I love Meghan. I was worried I wouldn't like the first counselor I was paired up with but she is great.

Meghan has been my counselor for 7 months and I now feel strong enough to continue things on my own without counseling. She helped me when I was at the lowest of the lowest in my life. She was/is very kind, supportive, a great listener, and most importantly made me think everything through. That's what really helped me the most! She not only sat there and listed to me, but made me think about all my outcomes and choices. She made me feel the most important and realize my self worth is the most important thing in the world. I definitely would recommend her to my friends and definitely would want her again in the future if I ever do need counseling again. This experience opened my eyes and showed me there are good counselors out there (:

I was initially hesitant to begin online counseling, however the transition from an outpatient setting to video chat has been much better than anticipated. Thanks in large part to Meghan. She is able to maintain a very personable approach through this style of counseling and regularly provides me with caring support and guidance. I would highly recommend Meghan to anyone seeking counseling through this medium.

Written by L.Y. on Oct 15, 2019 after counseling with Meghan for 4 months on issues concerning relationship issues

I turned 50 the 1st of June. I had been on a self healing journey for the last couple of years after coming into a midlife "crisis" about 5 years ago. This was my 3rd stint with online counseling. I find the online forum extremely convenient for my busy lifestyle. I have also always been better able to express myself through written word than speech, so being able to text when I am going through a struggle has been very helpful. In the beginning of my therapy with Meghan, I was stuck in my recovery. I had just been through the devaluation and discard from the 2nd narcissistic partner in the last five years. He had me so worried about his "depression" that I didn't know where else to turn. What Meghan helped me to finally see is that I need to focus on myself. I had identified my codependency a couple years ago, but I was stuck in the recovery process. Meghan helped to keep my focus and was so encouraging as she recommended tools such as mindfulness and a codependency workbook. Meghan treated me with compassion and understanding as I told her of traumatic childhood events, and she helped me to realize that I can overcome all of this. I highly recommend Betterhelp online counseling and Meghan Griffin to anyone looking for the tools to practice self love and self care and self-directed healing. I am forever grateful.

I've been working with Meghan for a few months now, and have never been so confident in a therapist. She is very prompt in her responses, and it is very obvious that she cares about her clients. She has been a source of comfort when my days are bad, and just an ear when my days are not. I don't know what I would do without her. She is truly gifted at her work.

I cannot say or even express into words how amazing Meghan has been throughout my journey of counseling and self-care. She has helped me identify and clarify my main concerns and areas for improvement, and given me the strength, resources, and tools I need to find myself & happiness again. Meghan is very easy to talk to and made me feel so comfortable, almost making me seem as though it was a weekly catch up with a friend but always remaining very professional. She is very compassionate, understanding, caring, responsive and encouraging. She always helps me find realistic goals and was very adaptive to my needs, likes, and dislikes. She always gave me recommended readings and/or suggestions of things to work on in between sessions (as I requested) and held me accountable without judgment or making me feel bad if I didn’t have time. Meghan is one of a kind and has helped me gain strength and learn the necessary tools to manage and handle anything that life may bring.
