About Me

For many of us, myself included, counseling often becomes a process that refuses to come full circle. We are seeking help, but that help seems to elude us and we struggle finding the right fit or the right method that might provide the direction we need.
I was inspired to pursue counseling as a career by my desperate need for help along my life path, and my desire to provide that guidance and compassion to others, in a clear and consistent way.
I want my clients to know that although I may not have experienced exactly what you are going through, I want to be able to provide you with the power to gain some peace, and wade through that difficulty with you. I hope to be a safe place for you, and a reminder that we all struggle need support. I want to work alongside you to find the best way to get you to the place you want to be, using the training, knowledge, and skills I have developed to provide you encouragement and insight.

She has been absolutely awesome and helpful. My situation is complicated and she gives practical advice. I also appreciate that she let's me vent and hears me out.

She’s amazing! So kind and caring. She is patient and genuinely tries to get the heart of the problem, revealing things you hadn’t even though about.

My time with her has been very short, but I really like speaking with her. She is understanding and really helps to break down where my issues are and to help me find ways to go about helping me fix them. She is very easy for me to share information with, and I'm very comfortable talking to her.

I was so nervous to start therapy in the first place. I wasn't sure what to expect nor did I find it comfortable to talk about myself. With Melakee I feel so confident in her understanding what I need and she's always there to listen and help.
