About me
Hello, I’m Melanie, a qualified counsellor for over 10 years and mindfulness coach for nearly as long. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can talk openly and feel (and be) genuinely heard.
I work with people who may be struggling with self-love, trauma, depression, social anxiety, phobias, relationship difficulties or a loss of direction or purpose in life. Many clients come feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure why they feel the way they do. Together we explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe, helping you understand patterns, build confidence and develop healthier ways of coping.
My approach is gentle, supportive and integrative. I often incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion practices to help calm the nervous system and strengthen emotional resilience. I advocate regular mindfulness and forest bathing. These practices can help people reconnect with themselves and find moments of calm in the middle of life’s challenges.
Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, patient and easy to talk to. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your story and move toward healing, self-understanding and a greater sense of purpose.
