Working through life's challenges together...
Hello! A warm welcome to my profile. My name’s Melissa; I’m an integrative psychotherapist specialising in personalising therapy to meet you where you are. With me, you'll find a warm, open, welcoming, safe space where you can be your true self.
I know searching for a therapist can feel overwhelming or daunting. You've taken the first step by looking for support, and that's worth recognising. My style of therapy meets you where you are, so you don't have to worry about having to adapt to therapy as I tailor it to suit you—whether that's a safe space to talk, a place to create change or a space to be challenged nonjudgmentally. Your voice is heard, and your needs matter to me.
I believe you have a chance of healing when you share your story with someone who is understanding, empathetic, and does not judge. I would like to offer you a welcoming space to hear your story truly.

“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.” - Brené Brown

In our sessions, I creatively pull together various methods, techniques and approaches from different therapies. We might delve into inner child work, attachment patterns or reparenting to understand how unmet needs from childhood affect you today. Together, we uncover and challenge old patterns that no longer serve you, helping you break free from repeating familiar and unproductive dynamics.
Therapy is a journey of change. I always strive to help you feel safe and supported in our sessions together. Your journey in therapy with me is designed to be your exclusive, safe space.
It takes courage to reach out for support. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you. You don't have to face your challenges alone. Please reach out to schedule your first session.
...Together we can find a way forward.✨
