I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wyoming since 2012. I began my practice in 2002 while residing in Georgia. I have been active in crisis response/resolution, initial diagnostics/treatment planning, individual and group therapies focusing on impulse control, depression/anxiety coping skills, decision - making/organizational skills. I have worked with issues involving chronic pain management and severe psychotic symptoms management.
I utilize a client - centered and directed cognitive - behavioral approach with my clients. The cornerstone of my collaboration is an empathetic identification of the client's desire to increase/decrease behaviors, manage complex emotional stressors effectively, and enhance decision - making skills while encouraging self - reliance with confidence.
I look forward to meeting my clients and strive to achieve clinically measurable and satisfying goals while enhancing desired strengths and abilities!

Michael was great, I felt like he really put the time and effort into understanding my issues and then gave great advice on fixing them.
Michael is the best. Immediately jumps into solutions as to how we can improve our lives, he also listens well and gives great advice.
Focuses on practical methods of helping me get better which is really helpful while listening carefully to all my concerns.
Michael is a wonderful counselor and therapist, unfailingly respectful, patient, empathetic, and kind. He brings an impressive (and flexible) array of qualifications, knowledge, techniques/approaches and experience to bear on every session, and responds to the unique issues and needs of the client with openness and sensitivity. I could not recommend him more highly!
