Michelle Jackson, LCSW
About me
I'm a therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments. I work with clients across the lifespan, from young adults to older adults, and I'm deeply committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ clients and those navigating complex life transitions.
My expertise spans trauma and abuse, grief, anxiety, and stress-related concerns. I specialize in helping clients work through self-love, communication struggles, isolation, and questions of life purpose. I also support those facing panic disorder, posttraumatic stress, mood disorders, and the unique challenges of midlife transitions, caregiving, and end-of-life concerns.
I bring particular sensitivity to women's issues, sexuality, family dynamics, adoption and foster care experiences, and the impacts of prejudice and discrimination. I'm experienced in supporting first responders, military, immigrants, and those healing from domestic violence, sexual assault, military sexual trauma, and self-harm.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered care. I believe in meeting you where you are with genuine respect for your identity, values, and lived experience. I'm here to help you build resilience, find meaning, and move toward the life you envision—at your own pace and in your own way.
Taking that first step toward therapy takes courage, and I'm honored to walk alongside you.
