Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Michelle Kohut. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

After trying therapy once in the past without really feeling like it clicked, working with Michelle has been a completely different experience.

One of the things I appreciate most is that she truly listens. She gives me the space to “word vomit” everything that’s on my mind without making me feel rushed or judged. Somehow she’s able to take what feels like a hundred scattered thoughts and help me make sense of them.

What I also value is that she doesn’t just nod along or tell me what I want to hear. When I need to be challenged, she does it thoughtfully and respectfully. She asks the right questions, points out blind spots, and helps me look at situations from perspectives I hadn’t considered. At the same time, she knows when I simply need someone to listen and when the conversation needs a little guidance to stay productive.

Another thing that has made a big difference is that therapy doesn’t end when the session does. Michelle often gives me practical “homework” or things to reflect on between appointments, which has helped me continue making progress instead of waiting until the next session to pick things back up.

If you’re looking for a therapist who creates a safe space to be completely honest while also helping you grow, I can’t recommend Michelle enough. She has been an incredible guide in helping me better understand myself, challenge old patterns, and continue moving forward.
