About me

I am a licensed Clinical professional Counselor in Nevada with over 9 years of experience working as a Therapist, crisis response and group therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have taken several trainings in trauma of all ages. My primary focus is children, I have worked with kids in the system, and worked with kids going in the system. My undergrad is in criminal justice which has helped me understand and educate parents that are dealing with child protective services to ensure positive interactions. I work with ages 3 up to 80 +. I have also worked with clients in the various communities such as Kink community and LGBTQ community, and the homeless.

My therapy style is warm and interactive, and empathetic. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I also remain transparent and encourage this in my clients when working on treatment. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage and the want to make a change in your life to seek a more fulfilling and happier life, and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Michelle has been a godsend! She’s incredibly thoughtful, insightful, and supportive. I’ve tried several therapists over the past few years and Michelle is the only one who’s made me feel comfortable and seen.

I came to Michelle during a very low point and series of events that I hadn't know how to navigate and she was so kind and patient with me to hear and tell the truth of what to do in the situation. She's respecting my boundaries of not drastic changes but taking baby steps everyday to work towards the goal of healing and becoming the person I want to be

Michelle and I have worked together now and in the past. She has always been such a fantastic guiding light to my healing, letting parse through things while asking helpful questions that really make me think about the issues that I'm having from a different perspective. Her insight is invaluable.
