About me

I am an LPC licensed in the state of Louisiana. My counseling experience has spanned the university, business, and private practice settings. Although my degree focus is in the marriage and family area, I built a specialty in career counseling working with all stages and phases of career issues. In addition, I am passionate about working with clients in the areas of communication, anxiety, grief& loss, confidence building, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.

I believe that good therapy comes from a warm, non-judgmental professional relationship. I will work with you to help you achieve your goals and live your best life.
My counseling approach is collaborative, and client focused and I would be honored to work with you.

Michelle listens with all her heart. She is kind and compassionate but also honest and frank. She does not tell you what to do, she helps you find that answer for yourself. I appreciate her so much!!

I am forever grateful for getting Michelle as my therapist. I recognize that not everyone can say they hit the nail on the head with their first therapy experience, but I absolutely did. She has a way of drawing out the things that maybe you’re not exactly great at expressing but in such a comfortable and not awkward way. The insight she offers is extremely thought provoking and I will forever have those little nuggets and tools she has shared in my pocket forever. I could not be more happy or recommend her more!
