About Me

When I began my career change to the helping field, I chose to be educated as a community mental health professional to receive the training that would afford me the therapeutic resources for meeting the counseling needs of my community. I have work experience with low income/wealthy, mental health/substance addiction, inpatient/outpatient and in individual therapy settings. I am extremely passionate about my work as a therapist and pride myself in connection. I genuinely care about people. I believe great theapists are born and I am finally doing my life's work. I often hear what is not being said and intuitively understand emotion. My clients have all received the needed therapeutic support to reach their goals. Should client needs ever exceed my expertise they will be referred for the best possible therapeutic help.

I am a Board Certified National Certified Counselor, Licensed in Professional Counseling. My education and experience cover all aspects of the individual, family, and couple dynamics. I am Trauma certified, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing therapeutic interventions.

I have over 8 years of experience and treat each client as a unique individual. I offer client specific treatment plans tailored to specific needs based on the client's chosen goals.

Michelle Webb is a wonderful therapist. I have been able to grow everyday with the advice she offers to me. I am so grateful for her guidance and feel that she truly listens to my pain and issues with my view on life. She understands my addiction issues and why I have chosen to numb and suppress all the negativity I’ve experienced in my life. I have finally found the healing I’ve needed for over 32 years.. therapy works if you’re are open to hearing the truth and apply theses tools to bettering yourself and life.

Michelle is a kind spirit. She provided a lot of practical things that I can incorporate into my daily life. I was able to shift my mindset on a lot of things and heal areas of density. I appreciate her work and I am grateful I got to work with her for my first time in therapy.

I am finding Michelle to be patient with me. She is a good listener and responds very quickly to any updates. I appreciate the worksheets she sends to me, it allows me to remember to think about the work I want to do on myself between each session.

She's great with knowing what you should be focusing on in your problems. Quick to understand the situation and doesn't force her opinions on you but suggests you useful resolutions to help your problems. She's a great listener and has a way make someone comfortable in spilling your soul to her. I'd highly recommend her especially to my LGBTQ's out there seeking for help. Best experience for me.

Michelle is a very helpful councillor; providing prompts, questions and alternative point of views outside of yourself. She uses worksheets to build positive habits and a change of mindset for long term solutions.

Michelle’s warm and welcoming presence makes you feel comfortable to share your inner world. From the first session with her, I felt very taken care of and comfortable to return for more. She’s attentive, experienced, and full of wisdom. I deeply appreciate her and her guidance.

In the short time that I've worked with Michelle, I feel like I've been challenged to explore what really matters to me and to take an active role in shaping the life I want. Michelle puts an emphasis on connecting with me on a human level, which I feel enhances the therapeutic relationship and makes our sessions more fruitful. I would recommend Michelle to people who are curious about themselves and want to work on becoming a richer more developed version of themselves. Kindness and empathy are at the heart of Michelle's sessions, however, that does not mean that she will ignore any nonsense on your end--at the end of the day you are responsible for your growth.

You are the first counselor that has gave me homework and skills. I've been looking for someone like that for years. So happy to have found you

I have only had a few of sessions with Michelle, but she is amazing, and I look forward to booking my next session. She understands what I am going through as an LGBTQIA+ person, and has really good insight into relationship problems. I feel comfortable speaking to her as I would normally, which I was nervous about as I use many swear words, but I'm allowed to speak freely. She is very supportive but also tells it how it is, which honestly I need right now. If you are going through something I would highly recommend her, she has been a voice of reason, support, and understanding as I deal with the issues presented in front of me. Most importantly, she is so adaptable. She focuses on my needs even if they change day to day! I don't think I am an easy client, but she always responds to me promptly. She is awesome!
