About me

When I began my career change to the helping field, I chose to be educated as a community mental health professional to receive the training that would afford me the therapeutic resources for meeting the counseling needs of my community. I have work experience with low income/wealthy, mental health/substance addiction, inpatient/outpatient and in individual therapy settings. I am extremely passionate about my work as a therapist and pride myself in connection. I genuinely care about people. I believe great therapists are born and I am finally doing my life's work. I often hear what is not being said and intuitively understand emotion. My clients have all received the needed therapeutic support to reach their goals. Should client needs ever exceed my expertise they will be referred for the best possible therapeutic help.

I am a Board Certified National Certified Counselor, Licensed in Professional Counseling. My education in community mental health and my experience cover all aspects of the individual, family, and couple dynamics. I am Trauma certified, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT trained at Beck Institute) and Motivational Interviewing therapeutic interventions.

I have over 9 years of experience and treat each client as a unique individual. I offer client specific treatment plans tailored to specific needs based on the client's chosen goals.

I look forward to connecting with you for a solution to your therapeutic needs.

This is the beginning and Michelle has already help me and improved how I react and respond to situations. I have been using the methods she has taught me when I am confronted with a problem.

Michelle engages with you and allows you to re think when reacting to catalytic factors that can be harmful to everyone involved . Learning to retrain the brain has given me reachable goals to see the brighter results

Michelle has a wonderful amount of optimistic energy and emotional awareness that has helped me navigate through one of the most challenging portions of my life - a rise to extreme professional success followed by absolute failure - and has helped remind me that I am the human that put myself in both situations in the first place. Since I began talking to her in 2021, she has been a wonderful resource for complicated thoughts and questions, personal understanding, and wonderful emotional support. I would recommend her to anyone that has gone through what I have. 10/10!

Michelle is a wonderful Therapist and I really enjoy working with her.
She is a true and real human and gives excellent feedback. I was not sure how online therapy would work, but some how she makes it easy to talk to her. She helped me through a hard transition in my life an I am forever grateful.
