About me

Hello, all!
I am a licensed social worker in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Ohio with over 13 years of professional work experience in the field of psychotherapy. I worked in an out-patient facility for people with drug addiction and various mental health issues for 10 years before joining Better Help.
I have experience in helping clients with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, self -esteem issues, anger management, ADHD, and communication issues among other things. My therapy style combines mainly Gestalt therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solutions-Focused Therapy. Concepts from other types of therapy are used as well. You can learn more about any of these types of therapy on psychologytoday.com.
To be human means to suffer, at least some of the time. But you don't have to go it alone. I am here to assist you in your journey toward self-growth, a deeper understanding of others, and a greater sense of peace. I can help you gain self-awareness so that you can take down those barriers that have kept you from making and achieving your goals. With the right insight and skills, you can evolve into a wiser version of yourself! AND you can be more accepting of the person you are right now!

Working with her has been incredibly valuable during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. She helped me navigate my recovery from a vestibular disorder while also supporting me through redefining what this next chapter of life could look like.
She creates a space where I always felt heard, understood, and encouraged. Rather than simply offering advice, she helped me build practical tools and healthier ways of thinking that I continue to use every day.
I'm so grateful for her compassion, insight, and steady support. I feel stronger and more confident because of the work we did together, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring therapist.
