About me
Nurturing Healthy Mind
Counselling for Adults, Couples & Families
“Healing through relationships, thriving together.”
You don’t have to carry it all alone.
Life can sometimes feel like a tangled knot — emotions that don’t make sense, relationships that feel like walking on eggshells, or expectations that leave you feeling pulled in too many directions.
At Nurturing Healthy Mind, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can begin to breathe, reflect, and untangle what’s been building up — and start moving forward with more clarity, connection, and confidence.
I work in person (in Buckingham & Milton Keynes) and online across the UK, supporting people of all ages and backgrounds through individual therapy, couples counselling, and family work.
Hello, I’m Mohamed
I’m a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Integrative Pluralistic Counsellor and a trainee Systemic Practitioner at Intermediate Level, currently studying for an MSc in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (AFT-accredited).
I bring a warm, relational, and non-judgmental approach to therapy, shaped by systemic thinking — which means I look not only at the individual, but at the wider relationships, patterns, and stories that shape your life.
Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. I work pluralistically, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic models to find what works best for you — whether that's talking through emotions, learning practical tools, or making sense of past experiences.
How I Can Support You
You might feel like you're carrying a heavy backpack that no one else can see — full of pressure, emotions, expectations, and questions about who you are.
Therapy offers a space to unpack, breathe, and figure things out at your own pace.
For Adults
Life can feel like you're spinning too many plates — work, family, past hurts, future worries — and there’s no pause button.
Together, we’ll slow things down, reflect on what matters, and help you reconnect with your strength and sense of direction.
For Couples
Sometimes it’s like you’re speaking different languages — stuck in loops of silence or blame, even when love is still there.
Couples therapy creates a safe space to unpack those patterns and begin to hear — and understand — each other again.
For Families
Family life can feel like everyone’s rowing in different directions, especially during times of stress or transition.
Family therapy offers a space where each voice can be heard, and where you can begin to move forward together with more understanding and compassion.
Areas I Support With
Parenting stress and overwhelm
Relationship breakdowns or disconnection
Anxiety, low mood, and emotional overload
Trauma and life transitions
Family communication and conflict
Self-esteem and identity questions
Supporting young people through school, family or emotional challenges
How We’ll Work Together
Counselling is your space — a place to slow down, reflect, and feel understood.
Whether we work together short- or long-term, I offer therapy that is:
Relational – built on trust and connection
Systemic – exploring how relationships and context shape your experience
Pluralistic – drawing from different models to suit your needs
Some of the tools we may use:
Humanistic Approaches:
Helping you grow in your own time, like a plant leaning toward sunlight.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy:
Offering practical tools, like a map to help you navigate step-by-step.
Psychodynamic Therapies:
Exploring deeper patterns — like gently untangling threads to see the bigger picture.
Systemic Therapy:
Understanding how relationships, stories, and environments shape your experience — and how change can ripple outward.
How I Work
Short-term or long term or open-ended support
Weekly sessions, shaped around your pace and goals

Written on Apr 23, 2026 after therapy with Mohamed for 2 weeks on issues concerning trauma and abuse, and intimacy-related issues
My sessions are personalised where I don't feel like a burden or a number, I feel heard and guided to make my own decisions while I greatly accept his insights into understandings of myself at current, past and future ideals as he repeats back to me what he thinks he understands I am saying then can progress to questions which help me ruminate and understand myself deeper. Brilliant match first try.
