I have been a practicing social worker for more than 30 years . Much of this experience has been working in a large public teaching hospital in Miami, Florida. The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting. I like challenging situations. My style of counseling is very eclectic, depends on the client and their unique set of problems. This can range from client centered, solution oriented or cognitive behavioral as many people are coming to therapy to learn new ways of thinking and alternative coping strategies. I know everyone has heard this countless times, but we are living in a time like no other and the stressors are great. I am looking forward to learning along with you.

She’s very polite so far I’ve never had any bad experiences with her worldly I would say
We all have bad days but, I had a really bad day. It grew into a bad day that didn’t seem to end. After a year of my bad day, I’ve asked for help. I feel heard. I feel like I’m on a better path to ending my really long bad day or i found someone that can help me along as it passes. I don’t know what to expect but I know I have hope. That’s enough for now.
Nancy is a great counselor. She helped me see things from a different perspective and made me aware of some issues that I wasn’t thinking about. She’s a great listener and provided some much needed guidance and helpful tips.
Nancy has been helpful and responsive to my requests.
Nancy is extremely lovely and caring and always goes above and beyond to make sure I am okay! And doing great
