These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nicholas Smith. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Nick helps me stay on track with my struggles and has helped me be a better person. My sessions with him are like a weekly R&R so that I'm ready for the following week. He gives me tools to prepare and protect my mental health. Thank you, Nick!
Nicholas was very professional and willing to listen & care. I felt comfortable talking to him on the very first session.
Nicholas is excellent! He has a talent for asking good questions that allows for good self exploration and thought. He is a great listener. Sessions feel more like talking to a friend.
So far so good. I enjoy talking to him. I never thought I would continue on a weekly basis and at times feel like I don't have enough to talk about to fill the time but we always do! Nick is great.
Excellent therapist 10/10
Nicholas has mastered the ability to be a real empath that gives pragmatic advice on how to work through emotions and issues
He is patient and attentive. Helps me feel confident I am on the correct path to positive change. Thank you!!!
Listening is what I expected from a therapist, but Nicholas Smith is above and beyond patient. He listens, acknowledges what he's heard, opens for clarifications but then continues to gently guide discussion to remain focused on positive outcomes.
Nicholas is extremely helpful and attentive and pays attention and listens to what I say and what my concerns are and leads me through my thought process.
Nicholas is the best therapist I’ve ever seen. He’s very kind, listens clearly and has very good solutions. He has an ability to bring things out of you that you didn’t know existed. Highly recommend!!
Nick is attentive and helpful. He offers ideas on different methods I can use to remind myself of important things I want to remember. Nick is supportive of my concerns regarding my journey to wellness.
Nick is very insightful and professional, he has been a great resource for working through issues.
Nicholas has been so kind during this process. He listens well, and offers insight and suggestions that have been so useful and helpful to me. I feel so much better!! and feel this isn't temporary.
He is a good listener and talks when he needs to. I appreciate our conversations.
I’m really enjoying my sessions with Nicholas. He listens very intently and has great guidance. He has been able to give me different perspectives on things so I am able to look at issues at a different angle so I can think about it differently. I look forward to continuing on!
He keeps the ramblings I threw at him focused and would circle back to things that need more attention. Very happy with my experience.
Dr. Smith has been exactly what I was hoping for in a therapist! He is able to ask questions and have conversation that leads him to the issues or struggles that I am wanting to work through. He has given me books to read and journal entry options that help me focus on working through things we talked about that week or over multiple weeks. I am looking forward to the rest of our sessions and would definitely recommend Dr. Smith to others!
I appreciate his words of encouragement and his willingness to listen.
Let’s me vent and talk a lot when I need to. Seems to have a nice blend of offering helpful observations, similarities in behavior, perspective taking, etc. while also letting me do the important work to think about things and come to my own conclusions. He engages with me in a way that I feel heard, respected and valued.
Nicholas has been a huge help for me since Day 1. Personally, I was someone who didn't think therapy/counseling was beneficial/necessary. While it can be difficult to open up, Nicholas makes it incredibly easy to share what's on my mind. I cannot thank him enough for his support and attention to my life. Working with Nicholas/BetterHelp has been one of the best decisions of my life.
This is my first time with video therapy and Nicholas has helped to make me comfortable. Nicholas has offered tools and suggestions to help me manage my anxiety. His past clinical work gives him solid experience, yet his ability to listen has put me at ease.
I have been working with Nicholas for a short time but even after my first session felt like I better understood the deeper reasons for certain thought patterns I had. He also was able to put a name to it which made me feel understood and less alone. He has helped me so far in realizing things for myself as opposed to telling me this is what it is. That helps me to really make a connection as opposed to agreeing that it makes sense and forgetting about. I feel heard during our sessions and that he sympathizes with my experiences.
At first I was entirely skeptical because the specifics of what I was looking for in a therapist were not met. Now I've come to appreciate our differences and what I thought I was looking for in a therapist. My concerns were met in a better capacity than I could have hoped for. His ability to pierce through the ramblings and concerns with a few short sentences makes me feel seen and heard in ways I didn't know how.
Nicholas is a great person, not just a great therapist. He understands a lot of things that you are going through and acknowledges them. I feel comfortable talking to him and he always got something that can help me face what I fear.
It has been great
Nicholas has done a great job for me. I would recommend him to everyone.
Very patients with listening to what I have to say. He is extremely efficient. He is prompt, honest without sugar coating and I have honestly been more mindful since I consulted his expertise. I highly recommend.
Nick is great to talk to and very responsive. I'm surprised how quickly he was able to understand my goals and help me.
