About me

Hello. The first step in any journey is always the hardest, but also the most rewarding because you are finally making the decision to not settle for what is and instead, are looking forward to what might be!

My name is Patrick Reynolds. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona, Tennessee, and South Carolina. I also hold a master’s degree in counseling (MA) from Liberty University and I also provide clinical supervision to candidates seeking licensure in Arizona as a certified supervisor. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health and addiction settings, plus via telehealth, and my military experience and Christian Counselor background gives me a well-rounded perspective of a diversified population hurting for a variety of reasons. It has been my greatest pleasure to have helped many in challenge work through depression, anxiety, stress, relational and family engagement issues, substance use and trauma.

With 20+ years of experience in the field, I willingly accept the challenge to walk-beside those in need to collaboratively work through issues and stressors in a supportive, therapeutic relationship mentoring positivity and healing. It is important to not only be heard, but to also come to fully know that we do not need to go through our struggles alone as we seek change and healing. We are stronger together than alone!
My approach combines an eclectic style built upon the person-centered approach and then drawing from a variety of modalities, from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, client-centered, trauma-informed, and motivational interviewing to address situations in a warm, caring, and respectful manner to meet each person where they’re at without judgement! Come let us walk together.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Patrick Reynolds. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Patrick has really gotten me to think about my stress in a physical way. His explanation about how the body reacts to stress and things to do to cope and manage that have been a great help. He sends encouraging messages and you can tell that genuinely cares about you and your health. I would recommend Patrick to anyone. He really does a great job and he is easy to talk to.

Patrick continuously provides support, encouragement and positive energy everyday which makes therapy enjoyable and effective. He reminds me to stop and smell the roses when I am often feeling anxious or stressed about daily tasks. He is so sweet and his kind words make me cry every session (in a good way).

Patrick’s military background has made him more understanding of the stressors I dealt with as a former Law Enforcement Agent. He also is a great listener and will immediately stop talking when I get a spontaneous thought I feel is pertinent to my issues. He also offer solutions and advice to help mitigate my issues.

His style of therapy fits me. It allows me to identify problems for myself while introducing his own suggestions in a good communicative way.
