About me

I am a clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed in the state of Nevada. I have been providing psychotherapy for the past six years and I have worked with a wide range of people. I have treated a multitude of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, self-esteem complications, anger management issues, and relationship conflicts. I have also worked with many individuals who have experienced loss, trauma, and addiction.

My approach to therapy is client centered. This means I meet you where you are at, and I use a variety of interventions, depending on your needs, to help you identify your goals. I then work collaboratively with you to help you reach those goals. Some of the interventions I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

My purpose, as a therapist, is to provide you with a safe haven where you can comfortably share your experiences. I make sure to always treat my clients with consistent respect and compassion. I will actively listen to you, help you process difficult emotions, and work with you in the process of achieving desired outcomes.

I look forward to working with you.

Rachael and I have been working together for about 6 months. I couldn’t have made it through without her. She infuses faith and traditional therapy seamlessly, without being too preachy.

Racheal has provided me a safe space for me to share. She is providing me tangible structure on how to deal with the issues that are important to me. I am looking forward to this journey.

She has been amazing! She has been a great listener and I like how she know when to say something or just be a proactive listener. She created a judge free environment where I feel safe.

I’ve been with Rachel for three weeks and I still have no new behavioral skills to show for it. And I have no tactics for when a similar situation arises later. I do not recommend her to anybody.
