About me

Do you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed or boggled down with everyday stressors and struggles? We have all been there before. I believe that everyone needs a supportive, objective person to talk to when they are struggling and deciding which move to make next. I can be that supportive person for you. I have experience in substance abuse, child/adolescent counseling, anxiety/depression, coping skills, etc... My main goal as a counselor is to make a difference in the lives of others, and hopefully provide you with helpful tools for whatever journey you may be on in your life.
I have been in the counseling field since 2005. My roles in life are probably not much different from your own; I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, coach, and friend. Please allow me to utilize my professional and personal experience to help you with your current struggles.

Rachel is persistent in checking in on me, even when I have a difficult time asking for help. She listens to me & offers concise answers reminding me what's most important. I am too wordy & have difficulty expressing myself concisely. Her ability to sort through all my words & get to the point is extremely helpful to me.

Rachel really listens and absorbs all that I have to say before helping me walk through my feelings, and I appreciate that so much.

Rachel has been a good resource for me as I deal with a recurring bout of panic attacks and anxiety. She is willing to offer coping mechanisms, exercises, or just be a good listener during video sessions, and she always responds quickly to messages.
