About Me
I believe that changes take place through healing relationships. My job as your counselor is to listen and understand what you are going through and what changes you are seeking. I offer to hold hope for you when times are dark or you feel lost or confused and to share in your progress too! I work from a person centered approach and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Based Perspective to help you learn and grow and make the changes you want to make. I also work with people who have been through a traumatic event and help them go from feeling like a victim and being afraid to learning how to live with it and experiencing growth. I work individual all of all ages from 3 to 100! I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing since 2007. I also have a heart for First Responders and have experience with that population.
I have experience working in a wide variety of settings with people of all ages and requests for help in a wide range of things. I'd like to help you find your purpose in life and have deeper more meaningful relationships. Some of the issues that I help with include trauma, loss of a pregnancy, loss due to suicide, adjusting as a widow(er), adjusting to moves due across country, loss of independence due to aging, and response to tragedy such as a sudden loss of life in the family. and healing from physical and sexual abuse or domestic violence. I consider myself a moderate individual who is considerate of all spiritual beliefs. I will help you explore your personal value system. I will help you find meaning and joy again after trauma.

Roslyn is an open minded individual that gives great insight and advise into our session. I look forward to our weekly sessions to help process events or stresses during the week! I’ve never had a therapist and I have found Roslyn to be amazing in helping me figure out me.
She is kind , empathic and amazing .
Roslyn is a wonderful listener, and she finds ways to identify with your struggles. She stays up to date on your situation, and provides as much guidance as she can. I highly recommend her.

Roslyn is an attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable therapist who is guiding me through a rigorous self-discovery path to making me a better person.
Roslyn Pursley has been a godsend. She’s been very helpful in this difficult time for me. After every session I come out feeling hopeful. Thank you.
Only had two sessions but she seems like a great fit so far.
Roslyn is very friendly and a great listener.
She gives good advice. She checks in to see how your doing. Brings wonderful optimism and cheerfulness to the communication between us.
Roslyn has been very supportive of my needs. Sending me information, being there to listen. I am greatful that my first experience with counseling has been with her. Thank you.
She is really professional, provides feedbacks and constantly messages for updates (which for me is one of the reasons why I am enjoying BetterHelp). I never had this interaction with a psychologist before and I feel much more connected with her than with any other psychologist I had in the past! I would strongly recommend Roslyn Pursley.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised starting therapy for the first time. Roslyn is very professional, supportive & understanding to what I’m going through. I always feel better when I get the chance to speak with her, I definitely look forward to keeping Roslyn as my therapist and enjoying our conversations, progress in my self growth & being the best I can be mentally and emotionally. One of the best choices I’ve ever made . Thank you
She’s lovely
Thank you Roslyn
Great consultations
Roslyn is very skilled at putting things into perspective, as well as a kind and empathetic listener. She’s very responsive, caring and patient. I had also been through multiple therapists before seeing her and she never makes you feel rushed or like you’re just another random person/specimen the way other therapists here have at times. Definitely recommend her.
I have been to 3 other therapist before and no one has listen and understood me like Roslyn. She not only gives me great advice, she puts things into a perspective I never thought about. She’s helping me a lot and guaranteed she can do the same for you.
