About me

I welcome you and commend you for seeking help as I know it can be challenging to do so.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan, having graduated from Western Michigan University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have 6 years experience as a therapist. I am also a husband and a father of 3. I have a love for the outdoors and learning new things. I am also an avid fan of hard rock music.

I would describe therapy as an organic process, much like a relationship. As with any relationship it takes time to develop and requires honesty and vulnerability on behalf of both parties in order to grow.

It can be hard to take that first step and ask for help. My focus is to meet you where you are in your journey and support you as you face life's challenges. I am here to work with you to aid in greater self awareness, utilize strengths to solve problems and discover hope. The process of change can be both challenging and rewarding. I am excited to have the privilege to join you on your path and help you discover the next steps.

Ryan is good at discovering the underlying issues and he has a great way of helping others to discover their strengths. I have developed a great deal of insight and awareness that I am not losing my mind. He encourages me to do for myself as I do for others.
