Hi, My name is Sally. I have been a social worker for over 30 years. I attended Graceland College and graduated with a BSW in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. I attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a Masters in Social Work. Most of my work has been as a medical social worker. I have worked in four different states. My first job after graduate school was at an inpt. Rehab Center. I counseled patents and their families who had strokes, spinal cord injuries and head injuries. I then worked at a high risk OB unit and a NICU. I worked with drug exposed babies and their families, high risk pregnant women and NICU families. I held a support group for the parents of the NICU babies. I counseled females who were considering adoption, who had fetal demise, those involved in domestic violence relationships, post partum depression and those with pregnancy issues. I then moved to CA 13 years ago and began working at a Children's Hospital. I work primarily on the Child Protection Team and co-facilitate a grief support group. I also work with parents of children with chronic medial issues and those going through life changes. One of my strengths is working with diverse populations. I enjoy working with people from all ages.

Sally is the only reason I was able to stop
crying. She listened, cares and reminded me of how strong I am and where I need to continue to find my strength…and that it will get better, so keep heading toward it!

I will forever be grateful to Sally for her help in one of the most vulnerable times in my life.
She is not only a great listener, but she gives great tips and advice that are quite effective.
When I started my sessions, my anxiety level was through the roof, but overtime, by talking through the tough stuff, it got better. Sally, you are amazing! Thank you

Sally has loads of experience in a range of fields and her advise is always very practical. She has helped me get some thoughts out for the first time and draws examples from her own life that have been useful for me.
