About me

I am a licensed therapist in PA and have been in the field for 10 + years. Most of my experience lies with addiction, anxiety/depression, relationship issues as well as trauma. Additionally, I'm certified specifically for addiction services and specially trained in both DBT and EMDR. I think the most important part of the therapy process is building a rapport between client and therapist as well as individualized communication and treatment to fit what is best for each person. Signing up for therapy is hard in itself, I try and make the process as comfortable as possible.

I’ve talked to many people about their therapy experiences and something that was always interesting to me was that they would often say how they don’t enjoy going to therapy. That’s not something I experience at all. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with Sam because she allows me to process my thoughts and feelings freely and without judgement while also gently challenging the way I’m thinking - giving me a healthy perspective on things going on in my life. It’s very refreshing and it gives me a sense of relief afterwards! Highly recommend Samantha as a therapist!
