About Me

Hi,

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut with over seven years of experience in clinical support. I have over 15 years of experience in family support. I earned my master's degree in Social Work with a focus in Gerontology from Springfield College in 2013.

My specializations are working with individuals and couples with anxiety, depression, communication, relationship, and parenting issues. I have also worked with people who have witnessed or experienced emotional or physical trauma.

My counseling style is patient and client-centered. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, compassion, and respect. My approach combines talk therapy, Problem-Solving, Cognitive-behavioral, Dialectical behavioral, Gottman, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic, and Grief Counseling Therapy.

We all present our life stories differently depending upon the person and the situation. I am here to support you in making the next step toward a positive change.

I look forward to working with you!

Sandra has been amazing. She listens, she challenges me when necessarily and gives me great tools to work with on my own.

Sandra is very good at being attentive and listening. When I talk about my issues I feel more heard instead of just told solutions to try and fix things. She’s been helpful when asking for help on certain issues I’ve had and how to deal with them. She is very professional and has been a great help so far. I look forward to continuing working with her.
