About me

I am an LPC (licensed practicing counselor) in the State of Alabama and have been practicing for about 20 years. I have experience with couples therapy. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, OCD and many other concerns. This is a safe space!

My counseling style is collaborative, interactive and guided by your needs. This is a safe space, where you will not find judgment. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness based, strengths based and other styles of counseling. I will tailor to your needs and expressed wishes; we will together to determine your therapeutic needs.

I recognize the difficulty of seeking help and of creating change; I am here to help you every step of the way! I look forward to working with you!

She has been a huge help in navigating my life changes. I appreciate her advice and her compassion and empathy. She relates on many levels to my experiences and I like how she doesn't only validate me but also being up other perspectives and we focus on what can be done in a better manner. I feel like I can grow, as a person, with her as my therapist

Sarah has been a great sounding board and a stabilizing force. She tells me what I need to hear but also reinforces my good choices. I highly recommend her.

Sara has been the best thing that ever happened to me, at just the right time.
She understands and supports me, even when I am not making any sense. She helps me confront conflict, find my voice of reason and take back my power when I need it most.
She always has the best advice and provides countless resources to help me help myself, meanwhile encouraging me to do just that.
I firmly believe I would be dead in a ditch right now without her help these past few months.

I would recommend her to anyone struggling with a million star review to back it.
