About me

I studied and received a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in behavioral sciences in 2009. I have been in private practice for 8 years and have work with a variety of presenting issues, such as depression, anxiety and behavior related problems. I primarily focus on cognitive behavioral therapy but am open to different approaches as the need arises. I grew up in a nontraditional household and learned very early on the benefits of a therapeutic relationship and have chosen to dedicate my life helping others.

I’m really glad I waited for her. She’s awesome and she gets it.

I only had two sessions so far but I am so glad that Sara can talk me through and sort out the steps to make me feel at ease. With her, I feel I can learn to make the right steps at the right time. I am absolutely amazed by her empathy and her ability to stay calm and collected when I am lost. She really is a great therapist!

Sarah is the best!! I never ever feel judged and talking to her can almost be like talking to a really supportive friend who gives you great tools. Her style of working on those tools first, instead of getting into the stuff we already know we can’t deal with on our own the way we have been, works perfectly for me and I never expected to do things that way and I’m so happy that I was matched with her right away because 3 sessions has made 31 years of this that and everything else seem so much more able to deal with in healthy positive ways to make myself better as a woman and as a mother . Super thankful for Sarah !!

Honestly she listens well and knows when to give you guidance and talking/reflecting points and knows when to stay quiet and let you work through it on your own. She’s really easy to talk to and also knows when to be direct and straight forward. I really appreciate the time I’ve had with her as my therapist and hope to never lose this connection no matter how many days pass between sessions.

Sarah has been in tune with my needs since we began working together over a year ago. I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone who can actively listen and respond with great confidence, knowing how to approach topics and situations with ease.
