About me

Hi there! Welcome to the first step in making a change in your life! My name is Sarah Hall and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri. I have ten years of clinical experience working both in private practice and clinical agency settings. I have great experience working with children, teens, adults, and even families. I have worked with clients on a variety of issues, include anxiety, behavioral issues, grief, trauma, and mood disorders. I have worked with foster care youth, traumatized clients, non-verbal clients, and couples. I received my B.A. in psychology from the University of Missouri and my M.Ed. from Stephens College.

Personally, I am a mother, wife/partner, daughter, dog mom, and social worker full time. Better Help is my side hustle! I enjoy exercising and have a dog named Winston. I am a Swiftie therapist, as well!

My therapeutic style is solution and present focused. I have experience using a variety of therapeutic approaches based on my client's preferences, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). My approach is to be warm, honest, and respectful with all of my clients, while respecting boundaries of my clients as well as multicultural differences.

I look forward to working with you and helping find joy in life!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Sarah Hall. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I am happy that Better Help matched me with Sarah. I was a little curious and concerned how they choose before I started my therapy sessions. I've been mismached with the wrong therapist before and it's not a good time. Sarah is the perfect fit for me! Sarah has a way of making me feel at ease and comfortable. I also like the way that she can draw me out of my train of thought to answer questions that make me think deeper. She challenges me to look beyond the top layer and search for what it is I really want/need. Then there are the days that she just lets me ramble, because I need to say my thoughts out loud. On those days she lets me know that it's okay and I don't have to fit into "what i think I should be saying". Best thing about Sarah is, I feel like she supports me when I need my handheld and it's okay to need that from another person. I am extremely happy with my experience with Better Help, I am even happier with my Therapist Sarah

I have been speaking with Sarah for a few months now and I can already see and feel an improvement in my sense of self and anxiety. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone seeking someone to speak with who will nurture self growth while also validate and empathize with what you are struggling with. I feel comfortable and safe speaking with Sarah and my sessions have become extremely valued times of my week.
