Hi there! Welcome to the first step in making a change in your life! My name is Sarah Hall and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri. I have ten years of clinical experience working both in private practice and clinical agency settings. I have great experience working with children, teens, adults, and even families. I have worked with clients on a variety of issues, include anxiety, behavioral issues, grief, trauma, and mood disorders. I have worked with foster care youth, traumatized clients, non-verbal clients, and couples. I received my B.A. in psychology from the University of Missouri and my M.Ed. from Stephens College.
Personally, I am a mother, wife/partner, daughter, dog mom, and social worker full time. Better Help is my side hustle and I have evening and weekend availability for clients. I enjoy running and have a dog named Winston.
My therapeutic style is solution and present focused. I have experience using a variety of therapeutic approaches based on my client's preferences, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). My approach is to be warm, honest, and respectful with all of my clients, while respecting boundaries of my clients as well as multicultural differences.
I look forward to working with you and helping find the joy in life!

I’ve gone to therapy once before and Sarah reminds me of the person I had before. She does such an amazing job working w/ you. Not going to fast, listens to you, & asks all the right questions. I enjoy getting texts from her through the app almost every day & she is so kind and respectful. I recommended her to a few people already and will continue to do so.

It’s been a very rewarding experience and helped me get through some issues I’ve had in my life, low mood, feeling like I didn’t matter and silencing the chatterbox in my head. Always listens to what I have to say and responds in an enthusiastic way. Creates a very safe and caring environment.
