About me

I believe that all individuals have indescribable dignity, worthiness, and value and as such I believe all people deserve compassion and respect. This is the foundation for all the work that I do with clients. Helping people has always been a passion for me, and counseling is a natural extension of that passion. I am warm and laid back, and approach therapy from a client-centered approach. I incorporate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness into practice with clients.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada and have been practicing for seven years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in substance abuse counseling from The University of Nevada, Reno in 2014. In 2016, I graduated cuma sum laude from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon with a master’s degree in counseling.

Working with Sarah has been a transformative experience. Before starting therapy, I struggled to articulate what I needed from the people in my life. Sarah is helping me build a blueprint for my life by discovering my values and teaching me how to protect them through clear boundaries.

My therapist is knowledgeable, direct, and kind. I had a break through in what my issue was in the first session. I understood clearly what the root cause was of my upset. Subsequent visits helped me come up with strategies to deal with issues when they arises in both my personal and professional life. Her help has made a huge difference in my life.
