About me

My name is Shannon and I am an LCSW in Norman, OK. I have worked in a therapeutic setting for over 18 years and still feel it is my calling. I have worked in youth and family centers, been a coordinator for in-school therapy, a manager for Victims of Crime Act, worked with the court and prison systems, completed assessment and referral for SMI individuals, and have been in private practice.
My therapy style is relaxed, warm and my approach is CBT, Psychodynamic and the empowerment approach. I believe we all have strengths and once we begin to recognize them we will begin to use them and will continue to build. I look forward to working with you.

Shannon has not only listened to me and my concerns, but also came up with a plan that I can implement to help better myself, my thought process and my actions. She has given me more time and acknowledgment than I have received from another therapist, which means a lot. Shannon has helped me through tough situations and has helped me want to be a better person overall.
