About me

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 3 years. My work experience includes community based mental health services, inpatient behavioral health, intensive outpatient behavioral health, and community service organizations. I have experience working with young adults, parents and families, and individuals. I am particularly passionate about helping people connect to their communities, accessing resources, meeting their basic needs, and working towards their best selves.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I will take a person-centered, empathetic approach and provide you with the tools you need to handle challenging situations and life’s problems.

Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Shelby Koshy. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Shelby has helped me to see that compartmentalizing my problems with the hopes of either never dealing with them or dealing with them later is affecting my relationships and decision making process without me even realizing it. It's been eye opening to learn about myself from someone else but it's become a weekly appointment I look forward to and appreciate.
