My name is Shequitta (Shuh qwee tuh) Lenoir, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota and Texas. I received my B.S. in psychology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and my Masters in MFT from Argosy University in Eagan, Minnesota. As early as sixth grade, I have had the desire to help people and be a counselor. I have 13yrs of experience working in the mental health field providing therapy and skills to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, as well as drug and alcohol addictions. I typically use Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and some Solution Focused techniques to support people in working through their concerns. I enjoy working with people in boosting their self esteem, confidence and awareness so that they can live the best life possible.

One of the most amazing women I’ve met. Personally the best therapist I’ve worked with. Conversations are thought provoking, she’s wise and kind! Always adds a touch of Gods love....she’s exactly what I asked for.
Shequitta is great. She listens intently and is flexible with her appointments. She's helped me a lot the past couple of weeks I've been lucky enough to work with her.
She's fantastic. She listens, gives great insight, and is very caring.
