I believe in my heart Dr.Aaker would be truly concerned about me and I felt more of a kinship than patient and therapist. She would ask me about my puppy Layla , my kids and grandkids .I loved how personable she was

Written on Jul 23, 2026 after therapy with Sherry for 1 month on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and family conflicts

Dr. Sherry listens well, builds rapport exceptionally well, and learns how I - as her client - learn best - she is deeply academic, refers me to the science of the brain, and emotion, so I can actually name "my demons" and face them as appropriate. She is amazing at helping me identify patterns of behavior that do not serve me currently that have served me in the past and leaving me to decide how to adjust. She knows when to lecture and when to receive information. Perfect balance for a talk therapist.

Dr. Aaker has helped me through so many things this past year. She has helped me let go of the things that are bad for me and embrace the things that are good. She truly hears me and helps me work through every single issue that I face. I'm very grateful for her!
