About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Virginia, Connecticut, and Washington State with over four years of clinical therapy and over 20 years of working with everyday people who are ready to change their current circumstances. My work has afforded me with opportunities to partner with those managing anxiety, caregivers’ fatigue, workplace stress, and other life changes. As an Integrative Therapist my style incorporates psychology concepts, solution focused outcomes, and strength-based approaches that empower resilience where they are, no matter the situation. What does this mean exactly? I am an integrative therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges by combining evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Choice Therapy, and a strength-based perspective, all integrated with brief solution-focused therapy. My goal is to support clients in discovering practical strategies to move forward and create meaningful change in their lives.

With every session, it is my goal to ensure our therapy experience is safe, engaging, and thought provoking. With every client that enrolls into therapy, it is my belief that they are the experts on your own narrative, and they possess numerous strengths that will enable them to evoke accountability, create balanced energy, mental clarity, and command of their own lives.

It is my absolute pleasure to join each one of my clients on their journey of possibility. Our journey awaits us!

Best regard,

Shervonne
