About me

My name is Steve Reinoehl, a licensed counselor, hailing from Southeastern Pa. I have been married for 26 years, and live with my wife and daughter. I received a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Kutztown University in 2007, and have been practicing counseling for the past 10+ years, 6 years as a licensed therapist (LPC). I am a generalist, using a wide variety of counseling techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, and emotionally-focused therapy, to name a few. I help individuals with a variety of mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I also work with families to help them improve relationships and solve relational problems. The words that best describe my counseling vocation are as follows: “I have been able to help even those individuals who suffer the most, experience positive change, and improve their lives.” Just as I help my family, I enjoy helping my clients. No problem is too hard for me. If you have a need, feel free to contact me, and I’ll be glad to help!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Steve Reinoehl. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

For me, a male in his early 30's who has "lived a lot of life", Steve is a great person to chat with. He is naturally empathetic and seeks to understand you whether you are grappling with specific issues, or simply just need to vent and/or share your woes, struggles, wins, etc. Whatever it is, Steve meets you where your at. His approach is organic. It's like talking with an old friend, who always has your best interest in mind, with the wisdom to help you navigate life's challenges.

I've been in therapy with Steve for four months now and he's been more than helpful. He's great at holding a conversation, whether it be about what you're going through or something else entirely unrelated. He's intelligent both emotionally and academically and is a very welcoming individual. He listens and allows you to talk; while also engaging in the conversation and asking you questions that help you expand on your feelings and thoughts. I highly recommend him to anyone who's seeking help, whether you're new to therapy or not.

He is very empathetic to my situations as they are. I am really grateful for his help during this time of need. He listens, understands, and responds accordingly with the security of knowing that what I tell him stays between us. Thank you Steve for all your tremendous help,

Steve really takes time to fully listen and understand, asking questions that peels layers and identifies the root of the struggles. Easy to talk to and flexible with scheduling, I’m blessed to have Steve in my corner!
