Steven Vaughan, LPC
About me
Hello my name is Steve Vaughan MAC, LPC-S. I am grateful that I have been a counselor for over 21 years and have worked at multiple facilities along with my private practice. This has given me experience in many areas and the opportunity to help thousands of people have a happier more fulfilling life. I am also counseling supervisor for new counselors which takes both experience and has given me even more breadth of knowledge to help my own clients.
I use an insight oriented cognitive behavioral style of counseling that helps individuals understand themselves better and enables them to grow and change. This provides healing, growth, empowerment which leads to a healthier happier life. My goal is to assist you in working through the mental and emotional barriers that hold you back.
I have worked helping individuals coping with or overcoming depression, anxiety, bipolar, psychosis, relationship problems, grief, anger, ADHD, parenting, adjustment to life changes, trauma, PTSD, spiritual problems, LBGT+ issues, and emotional problems related to illness.
I am a down to earth person who is ready and willing to partner with you to help meet the difficulties you face with warmth and acceptance. You have the courage to change your life for the better and I have the skills to help you get there. I would consider it an honor to assist you. See you soon!

I just completed my fourth session with Steven. His compassion for helping others is phenomenal! He has given some of the best techniques for me to use to help stop my anxiety in its tracks. His in-depth explanations on what happens to our brain and the chemicals in our brain has helped me understand anxiety even more so. Thank you, Steven, for what you do! Highly appreciate you!
