About me

I am a psychotherapist licensed in CT working with individuals, couples and families. I have worked with patients with a wide range of concerns, including relationship distress, trauma, depressive disorders, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, parenting problems, career challenges, and life transitions. I also treat many people who have experienced domestic abuse (intimate partner violence), family violence, and mood dysregulation (anger management/other emotional disturbances).

My therapy style is strength-based and interactive. I intend to make you feel safe, respected, and compassionate. This is about you; there is no relevancy for judging or labeling. I will tailor your goals and treatment plan to meet your needs. My therapeutic modality is an integrative approach, which is meeting the patient where they’re at through cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), talk therapy, DBT, EMDR, and rational-emotive therapy.

You’re embarking on the first step to take care of yourself. This is a remarkable moment to reach out for support to ‘care for you.’ We all need some level of support at some point in life. Seeking this level of support will provide insight for change and a balanced life. I am here and would wholeheartedly like to hear more about you.

I look forward to meeting with you!

Sincerely,
Dr. Chetram

Dr. Chetram has a way of making you feel very comfortable to share anything that comes to mind. I have been working with her for a little less than a year and have seen such dramatic changes in my life since starting. Highly recommend

The best therapist I’ve ever had. She listens, breaks down the psychological aspects & even the neuroscience- she is absolutely great.

Dr. Chetram is extremely great at what she does. She finds a way to connect beyond words & actually can give me a pragmatic understanding of what I’m trying to comprehend. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to be better understood.
