Susan Baltimore, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist in California with four decades of clinical experience, I specialize in treating individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. My practice focuses on addressing challenges like depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, trauma recovery, and life transitions.
I offer a compassionate, evidence-based approach that recognizes each person's unique journey. My expertise centers on helping clients work through depression, isolation, social anxiety, grief and loss, attachment challenges, and personal transformation. I have become especially attuned to supporting people in significant life transitions: new mothers; marital conflict and divorce; older adults and caregivers.
My therapeutic style emphasizes creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, heal from past wounds, and develop meaningful strategies for emotional well-being. I believe in empowering individuals to rediscover their inner strength and reconnect with their sense of purpose. Therapy is most useful when the therapist has a well-developed capacity for empathy. I am an empathetic therapist who is able to approach the therapeutic work in a supportive and collaborative manner.
Through this collaborative, personalized care, I'm committed to walking with my clients as they navigate their most challenging emotional terrains with dignity and hope.
