About me

Life can change in an instant. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, struggling with anxiety or depression, or facing a difficult life transition, it can feel overwhelming to carry those burdens alone. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you feel safe to share your story, process your experiences, and move toward hope, healing, and meaning-making at your own pace. I specialize in grief and loss, helping adults navigate the complex emotions that accompany loss, change, and uncertainty while rediscovering hope and purpose in the midst of life's challenges.
I work with adults of all ages, including senior adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to grief, I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, communication and connection issues, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Together, we identify strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful steps toward the life you want.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from person-centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, and body-centered approaches, I help clients develop practical coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and create lasting change. Healing begins when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted.

I started seeing Susan in the interim of my regular therapists leave, and Susan has been easy to talk to and a great support during a very difficult time. I would highly recommend!

I had an Immediate rapport with Susan Blanchard. She is very empathetic person who is very skilled at her career. I am normally so anxious that I'm miserable through my first session, but I felt her compassion immediately at was at ease. I felt very heard, and I can't wait to continue my work with her.

Susan is wonderful and always makes me feel seen as heard. When I have my sessions I feel like I'm talking to a friend and I genuinely look forward to talking with her each week. I never feel judged or looked down upon with her. She has been a blessing for me in this app.
