I was afraid of therapists because I'd been through a lot of ones who didn't make me feel safe heard or even respected. I was so nervous talking to her I'm sure my face was red but she was warm and she listened and had a gentle approach and actually gave me things to work on instead of feeling like I'm still really doing this all by myself. I've yet to really get to know her but the most important things to me were met, she's safe.
