My approach to therapy is based on the conviction that our current behaviors are a function of our system and relationships with others. I try to learn from my client's experiences to develop a better understanding of who they are, how they developed their sense of self, their worldview, and behavior. Together, I believe we can identify and overcome the obstacles that prevent you from living the life you desire. I customize my extensive training to best suit your healing and goals. I combine cognitive behavioral and experiential techniques in working with individuals, couples, children, and families. I approach counseling from a systemic view point and incorporate CBT and solution-focused perspective with the focus on helping clients create solutions to problems they may face.

Tahreer has helped me so much already and we’ve only been in contact a couple weeks. She gets back to me quickly with amazing help and advice. She takes the time to listen and support me.
Her help and advice has started to change my mindset already and I’m sure within time my mindset will completely and stop me overthinking and worrying.
Tahreer's counselling has changed my life, I can see what was driving my anxiety and I can see what I need to work on for the first time in 20 years. I'm not just brushing it under the carpet as inconsequential, I'm facing it and working on it. She has made me see that it's real and that I am worth someone spending this time helping me.

Had two video appointments so far and my impression is very good. Tahreer asks hard questions in a calm manner, lets me take time to think it over and I never feel judged. She is calm, kind and professional but strict and keeps it real.

I’m very fortunate to have her as my counsellor! She took me from a state of crying everyday to never being happier and loving myself more everyday. She taught me that true self love comes from confronting your past and validating your emotions. She is supportive, accommodating, genuinely caring and very personable! She's always been there as prompt as possible to respond to me through the week, and also takes the time to check in between sessions. She has a talent for getting to the root of your problem when you can't see it yourself, and helps to untangle it. For the first time in a very long time, I am depression and anxiety free thanks to her help. I could go on for days, but I'm just grateful I let her help me.

Tahreer is very easy to talk to, she provides excellent recommendations, listens and has a talent for uncovering problems that I have difficulty communicating.
