About me

I’m Tangela Isely, a Licensed Professional Therapist in Texas, Oregon, and Maine with over 19 years of experience. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complex challenges of trauma, anxiety, and depression. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a person-centered framework. I believe in honoring your story and working together to uncover the roots of your struggles—so we can begin the process of healing in a way that feels safe, empowering, and free from re-traumatization

Clients often tell me they feel truly heard for the first time. I’ve always been someone people naturally open up to—even strangers at the grocery store. I consider it a privilege to listen to your story and walk alongside you in your healing journey.

Taking the first step can be hard, but reaching out is a sign of strength. I’m here when you're ready.

Dr. Isely has helped me manage my bipolar disorder mindset and symptoms. With her help, I am able to keep the wheels on my bus and actually get where I want to go without just turning circles. I am grateful for her education, expertise, and of course her time.

Dr. Isley is so wonderful and compassionate. I couldn’t ever imagine the amount of insight she has provided to me in the time I’ve gotten to know her. It was my first experience with therapy and I’m so happy I’ve been able to work with her.
