I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I am also certified as a Master Addictions Counselor and National Certified Counselor through the National Board Of Certified Counselors. I have over 18 years of experience in mental health and drug/alcohol recovery counseling. I have a special focus working with clients dealing with drug/alcohol and other addictions along with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar, relationship issues, trauma, family problems, adoption, career challenges, stress management, self esteem, adjustment and coping.
I believe therapy should be a two way street where you and I work together to decide what is best for you and that one approach does not fit all. Your current emotional struggle does not have to define your future. Working together, my hope is to help empower, encourage and educate you in finding resolution to this struggle.
It can be a scary process to start therapy and I will do my best to respect who you are and what goals you are seeking. I look forward to talking and supporting you in this process.

Timothy Welsch is a wonderful therapist. He challenges me to think in new ways and always keeps me on my toes. He is very encouraging and I have made a great deal of progress working with him.
Timothy is professional and available without being pushy. He listens and allows me to rant, which is a good thing. He also asks questions and gives assignments, which help me think.
I admire the advice that Timothy provides me. He always has an interesting spin on the situations and always gives me constructive feedback on how are why things are the way they are. He’s encouraging and honest with a great sense of humor. I feel he understands me and my goals.
Timothy is great. He is constantly checking in on me if I have been too busy to respond. He lets you speak and rant freely while giving you options of how you can go about a situation! 10/10 recommend!
Responds quickly, has plenty of patience, very kind and understanding. Has time for anything you are having difficulties with and above all else has the necessary expertise.
Great counselor. He makes me feel like I can speak freely, he listens carefully and provides good advice.
Timothy Welch has been a wonderful therapist. He listens, takes your lead of how you want the session to go, and respects and honors what your goals are. He is honest, genuine, supportive, and kind. He also provides empathy and clarity in his approach. I highly recommend him to help you through any tough times you are experiencing or as a mentor to help guide you through to reach your goals and provide clarity to the chaos in your life.
