About me

Hi!

My name is Nasha Chapman-Colbert and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. I have worked in the social work field for over 7 years and I have provided therapy based services for the last 3 years. I work with individuals, families, and children from all ethnic backgrounds and different socioeconomic statuses. My goal is to always meet my clients were they are and we work together to determine where they want to get to. Recognizing that help is needed is the first step and reaching out for help is the second. Everyone faces challenges and come across obstacles in life. True strength comes from searching within yourself and realizing that help is needed. Cognitive based therapy, client-centered therapy, existential therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy are a few evidenced based practices that I use. If you are ready to begin this journey, then I am ready to tag along. It is my pleasure to work with you and I hope to hear from you soon!

One of the best

Tynashkee Chapman Colbert: aka Nasha has been so easy to open up with and to talk to. I like the advice and or comments she gives. Also I’m a fan that she has a good memory and or writes down good notes about our sessions, so she follows along to my endless sidetrack stories fairly well. Knowing I have her once a week to talk to, it calms me down and if I sometimes can’t wait for the day we have scheduled bc I have something that’s tormenting me, I send her a message (which I love that feature) and helps me calm down. I love being heard and understood and provided with her knowledge.

I was going through one of the toughest times signed up and was paired with Tynashkee she is honest, relatable, calm and responds so quickly especially if there was an issue outside of my scheduled session time. I would highly recommend !
