About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than seven years of experience in mental health and substance use disorders. I also have a specialty license in Rehabilitation Counseling with emphasis on physical disabilities, vocational services, career counseling and developmental disorders are also my expertise. I can provide Case management services and psychosocial rehabilitation counseling. I provide Life skills training and coaching for transitional care. I address issues related to distorted beliefs and attributions related to physical and emotional abuse and provide a supportive environment.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. The scope of the sessions focus on empowerment, developing confidence, mastering coping skills, therapy, and quality of care for clients.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

I have started with better help and I’m already able to tell a difference in my overall I’m glad I was able to be matched with someone that works for me from the start but that’s probably cause I narrowed down my options what I’m looking for on the questionnaire before I got started .
the only thing I wish was different though is the limit of of 45 minutes max in one session versus one hour like I’m used to
And other thing is you can’t schedule more than one session at a time so if you schedule a session and want to book another one so it doesn’t get booked for when you’re wanting it but I’ve been able to schedule twice in one week so that helps as well but that could change if more people were to get the one specific therapist I don’t know I guess I’ll see
But 45 minutes once a week wouldn’t work for me if it came to that an hour is needed for one session to be able to fully benefit from a session
