Victor Cotto, LPC, LCMHC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) in Utah. I work with adults navigating trauma, severe depression, intense emotional stress, and relationship stress. I also have experience supporting veterans and men in high-pressure roles who need a steady, practical space to slow down, think clearly, and regain stability.
My approach is calm, structured, and direct. I bring a grounded presence to difficult conversations and help clients sort through what feels overwhelming without judgment. Clients often describe feeling fully heard in our work and able to be genuinely honest and vulnerable.
I believe therapy should feel grounded and purposeful. My work focuses on resilience, accountability, and realistic hope. Together, we identify what is getting in the way, strengthen coping skills, and take deliberate steps toward greater clarity, stability, and forward movement.
I also believe that the right therapeutic fit matters. If at any point it feels like I am not the right fit for you, I welcome that conversation openly. Your growth matters more than obligation, and therapy should feel honest, useful, and aligned with your needs.
