About me

Do you feel ripped apart and shaken to your core? You don't want to be a burden to friends and can't talk to family, it is all so overwhelming. The deepest pit of despair and hurt, mixed emotions, anguish, anger, confusion, barely coping with intense non-stop life changes. Loss of family, partner or treasured friends, sudden or chronic terminal illness, loss of the person you used to be, aging, guilty lifestyle, fear of a new job and moving, or the prickling heartache from loss of your pet. You don’t even have the strength to take the next step, to pull yourself through while trying to reach your old self. You need a safe space.
A warm welcome to your non-judgemental space, where I will work alongside you with empathy and compassion in an open, friendly, and professional way. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling sessions. Evening appointments are available and some Saturdays as agreed.
I'm here to offer you a treasured soothing safe space, far away from the icy cold sharpness of hurt, harsh noises, watchfulness, splashed with dread and uncertainty. You can safely step into a bedrock of complete confidentially. Rooted here cautiously you can begin to trust yourself, little by little let your guard down, and gently embody your true self.

Virginia is an amazing therapist who is an avid listener and offers a lot of presence in our sessions. She is kind, open- minded and offers a lot of expertise in navigating difficult inter- personal relationships. She has helped me a lot already through a very difficult time by offering advice, journaling prompts and somatic healing techniques. I am grateful to have been paired with her and will continue with her as my therapist for a long time. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Virginia highly enough! From our very first session, I felt an immediate connection and sense of trust, which is so crucial in therapy.

Virginia has an incredible ability to create a safe and supportive environment where I feel heard and understood. Her empathetic and non-judgmental approach has been a game-changer for me. She listens attentively, offers insightful feedback, and provides practical strategies that have made a profound impact on my mental health.

Before working with Virginia, my anxiety was a constant burden. I struggled with sleepless nights and felt overwhelmed by my thoughts. But with her guidance, my anxiety has significantly diminished. I now sleep like a baby every night, and the peace of mind I have gained is truly priceless.

Virginia's expertise and genuine care have given me the tools to navigate my daily life with confidence and resilience. She has empowered me to understand and manage my anxiety in ways that are both effective and sustainable. Each session with her leaves me feeling more positive, hopeful, and in control of my well-being.

If you're looking for a therapist who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to your growth and healing, Virginia is the one. My experience with her has been nothing short of amazing, and I am incredibly grateful for the positive changes she has helped me achieve. Thank you, Virginia, for being such a wonderful support and for making such a meaningful difference in my life!
