About me

Do you feel ripped apart and shaken to your core? You don't want to be a burden to friends and can't talk to family, it is all so overwhelming. The deepest pit of despair and hurt, mixed emotions, anguish, anger, confusion, barely coping with intense non-stop life changes. Loss of family, partner or treasured friends, sudden or chronic terminal illness, loss of the person you used to be, aging, guilty lifestyle, fear of a new job and moving, or the prickling heartache from loss of your pet. You don’t even have the strength to take the next step, to pull yourself through while trying to reach your old self. You need a safe space.
A warm welcome to your non-judgemental space, where I will work alongside you with empathy and compassion in an open, friendly, and professional way. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling sessions. Evening appointments are available and some Saturdays as agreed.
I'm here to offer you a treasured soothing safe space, far away from the icy cold sharpness of hurt, harsh noises, watchfulness, splashed with dread and uncertainty. You can safely step into a bedrock of complete confidentially. Rooted here cautiously you can begin to trust yourself, little by little let your guard down, and gently embody your true self.

Genuine and caring. The interaction with her is very smooth. She creates a safe environment and offers different kinds of tools to try depending on the situation. I definitely feel I have progressed since I started.

I’ve been doing therapy with Virginia for almost a year and the difference within myself is striking! I feel so much more self assured and my resilience is growing with every session. I am much more able to manage my anxiety as I navigate around my healing journey. I highly recommend her, she has had such a positive impact in my life and wellbeing!

I knew that the last three months were going to be hard, but Virginia was with me every step of the way. Knowing I had her to talk to, to process with, helped me incredibly, and I never felt alone. Thank you Virginia!

Virginia is kind, supportive, non judgemental and listens. She is always beaming and it makes me happy. She makes light out of situations that need to be taken lightly and is serious with situations that are to be taken seriously. She listens and does good meditation after the session - which I wouldl ove to have more of! She is like a good friend who I enjoy catching up with after a long week. Looking forward to diving in deeper with my past. Lots to look forward to I'm sure.
