I have 19 years experience working with all different types of people. I use many different treatment methods, geared towards what works for you. My style is to be honest and real with people. I am not judgmental and believe many people are too hard on themselves.
You choose what you are comfortable with. Do you want homework or just to work in therapy? Often treatments are combined such as DBT and CBT. We may work on mindfulness along with journaling as a way to get in touch with feelings.
I use DBT on a daily basis so i know it works. Mindfulness is an important factor in treatment. I will ask questions in order to discover what you need. I see issues as a challenge to discovering what works for you. I also believe that you need to do things to make yourself happy. Volunteer, join a book club, it is important to keep yourself active.

Wendie is a great listener and offers good feedback! She checks in and helps me through.
Wendie is amazing, I only needed a few therapy sessions but in those few she helped me focus on healthy coping mechanisms when facing depression and anxiety. I would highly recommend her. She is very honest but also empathetic and respectful.
Wendie is great and I enjoyed my sessions with her. I found her expertise understandable and relatable.
Wendie met me when I was at my worst, I was afraid and felt broken and lost. I had no idea what therapy would be like and she made me comfortable and gave me tools to use every single day, and I do! I could not recommend Wendie more!
Wendie has been very supportive, responsive, and a great listener when I’ve needed it most. I would highly recommend Wendie!
Wendie is a great therapist that supplies you with non-judging advice and an environment that makes you feel like you can discuss whatever is on your mind. She has many tools to teach you so you can then use them in real life.
Makes therapy feel less like “therapy” and more like talking to a friend.
Wendie is kind, supportive, and a great listener. She's been so instrumental in helping me find a good strategy to sort out my feelings, accept what is true, learn how to set boundaries, and challenge my thoughts and beliefs in a healthy and kind way. I am so grateful!
She makes it very easy to talk to her about my concerns.
Wendie is an amazing listener. She provides a wealth of life experience. I feel heard and understood
