About me
I am qualified in person-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused approaches. I have also studied and practise mindfulness. I have 14 years experience of working as a psychotherapist.
Based in Manchester, UK, I offer online and telephone counselling sessions. My approach is warm, friendly, and compassionate. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and explore any issues that may be causing confusion or distress.
I work in a person-centred way, meaning our sessions are led by you. You decide what we talk about, and we will always work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to its Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

I’ve Only had 3 sessions with William so far and he’s been amazing for me! He listens so well and has excellent knowledge on every aspect we’ve come across. Always prepared to listen and is so calm and collective to speak to. I feel so comfortable opening up about my issues and feels such a safe place to talk.
Can’t wait to continue seeing William as each session is getting better and better to help my understand the issues within myself!

William is a tremendously dedicated and competent therapist. He’s accompanying me in my journey and providing me with the tools I need to progress. He is also very good at both simultaneously having a broad view of the overall situation and pin pointing the areas and details needing work. I have been working with William for over a couple months and intend to carry on for the foreseeable future as he is making the process enjoyable and I look forward to further personal growth.
