I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (in the State of Georgia) with a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. I have worked in Mental Health in various Clinical areas since 1980, accumulating 30 + years of experience. I have worked with individuals experiencing Serious Mental Illnesses, life-disrupting personality disorders, and people facing challenges with co-occurring conditions (Mental Health and Substance Use). My work with co-occurring disorders awarded me recognition by the NAACP and the privilege of completing certification with the Morehouse School of Medicine, Community Health Leadership Program, Satcher Health Leadership Institute (along with other demonstrations of helping others)
Although most of my experience has been with Adult Individuals, I have ten years of work with Children and Adolescents in the Community and designated Facilities. My therapeutic style is on the needs of motivations of each person. My approach is eclectic, tailored towards the identified concerns of everyone with a selection of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also use other technics consistent with Best Practices.
The courage to identify distractions and the need for change can be brutal for many who do not realize the merits of identifying challenges providing opportunities for personal growth. I strive to assist individuals in their Journey towards self-fulfillment.
I look forward to assisting you in your Journey.

Very helpful and calming. Wants to get to know you
He help me identify weakness concerning interpersonal relationships and provided ways to strengthen coping mechanisms in moving forward, I highly recommend!
This was our initial meeting. I appreciated that his feedback was both conversational and had direct impact upon my thoughts
Willie is very easy to talk with and provides great insight to help me process my thoughts.
The last two years have taken its toll on healthcare workers, especially nurses. My combined professional challenges, history of trauma, personal challenges, and social isolation led me to a dark place. I felt quite scared that I was losing myself and Better Help was at my fingertips. I was connected with Willie Whited who literally saved my life. He empowered me to learn strategies to overcome triggers, manage anxiety and depression, and most importantly, self compassion and love. Willie is an amazing man and therapist who truly listens and empowered me to find my best version of myself while learning strategies to tackle life’s problems, big and small. Willie truly saved my life and helped me reconnect with my purpose. I believe his impact will last a lifetime; I am grateful for his thoughtful listening, kindness, compassion, and even a little humor. I appreciated his honesty and keen observations, it’s refreshing to have such a warm and compassionate therapist.

Mr. Whited is working out well.
Mr. Whited has been excellent. I am hesitant by nature to trust in counseling. However Mr. Whited has been very helpful in settling me down so I can avoid full on crisis. My trajectory has immediately changed for the better.
