Yasmeen Hardy, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed therapist in North Carolina with 10 years of professional experience supporting individuals through both emotional and life challenges. My background includes extensive work in direct clinical care as well as managed care, where I provided both physical and behavioral health care management. This experience has strengthened my ability to understand the full picture of a client’s well-being, collaborate across systems, and help individuals navigate complex care needs. I also bring management and leadership experience, which has deepened my skills in communication, problem‑solving, and supporting diverse teams and clients.
Clinically, I have worked with clients facing stress, anxiety, depression, family and relationship conflicts, motivation concerns, and issues related to self‑esteem and confidence. I also have significant experience helping individuals cope with major life transitions, whether they involve career changes, family shifts, or unexpected stressors.
My treatment approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence‑based practices. I strive to create an open, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to healing, and I work with each client to build trust, strengthen insight, and develop practical tools for growth.
I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, drawing from cognitive‑behavioral strategies, strengths‑based approaches, and solution‑focused techniques. My goal is to help clients understand themselves more deeply, identify barriers to progress, and build confidence and resilience.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I am truly proud of you for beginning this journey. I look forward to supporting you as you move toward clarity, healing, and meaningful change.
